Fresh Beat Band Holla!!

I love my children and always try to find new ways for them to have some fun. For some crazy reason I thought it would be a good idea to take our three beautiful girls and my brothers three youngest girls and the best friend to my oldest to see

The Fresh Beat Band in Kansas City. We started out at Crown Center which is always a great place to visit while in town. This was taken outside the Toy Store. PEZ2 just could not get enough of Barney. She wanted him to come to life right there.

We started the day off with a trip to Hallmark's Kaleidoscope in Crown Center. It is the very best place for any budding artist. We saw kids from 3 months to 14 years old creating items from leftovers from Hallmark. The PEZ Girls made puzzles, bookmarks, paintings and presents. If you don't have a child in tow a visit to the Hallmark museum next door is a must. They have a history of Hallmark cards, a visual list of all their ornaments, a live artisian and every commercial ever made playing. Tugged at my heartstrings a little. Luckily I had the girls to get into their next brand of mischief to keep me engaged. Next we hit Winsteads Restaurant on the Plaza.

It is one of the oldest soda shops in Kansas City and the ambiance is fantastic. Oh and the 4 person shake was a big hit. It took 7 kids to knock it out of the park. Now for the reason for the trip.
We headed to the Fresh Beat Band Concert. I don't know if you have ever taken a child to see a concert but it is a blast. We took 7 girls to see this concert and the fun just kept coming. We had 8 seats in one row and then the 4 oldest girls got to sit closer to the front on their own. Of course they were only 3 rows in front of us but they thought they had won the lottery. It was such a great time. The PEZ girls danced their night away and could not have been happier. I love have a great family day it reminds me of why I wanted to be a mom. Always and forever to show my children how wonderful, fun and delightful being alive can be.
